Experience:
Raised in the Bay Area, I spent much of my formative years working in a large appraisal firm founded by my mother and father in 1985. My mother being a residential appraiser specializing in high-value homes, and my father being a commercial MAI, provided me experience appraising both residential real estate and many types of commercial property. I have also worked with other distinguished appraisal firms such as Denton Valuation of Walnut Creek as a contract commercial appraiser representing them in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Santa Clara Counties. I worked with Neustein & Associates of Los Angeles as a contract appraiser, providing litigation support in the form of appraisal services, data research, and analysis support for high profile cases concerning condemnation, eminent domain, brown-fields, and diminution of value due to development on contaminated land. While I do not have a law background, working with Neustein and Associates has provided me experience in developing quality documentation and verification of supporting evidentiary material, expert witness testimony, and deposition strategy. Being a licensed real estate broker, with both residential and commercial sales and leasing experience, has also assisted me in developing great relationships with market participants, provided insight into market activity, and has afforded me the ability to help many of our past clients with asset disposition or acquisition.
